Empowered for Change

About XIAMUN,

Since 2010, Xiamen International School has proudly hosted XIAMUN, our annual Model United Nations conference dedicated to developing globally minded leaders and confident communicators.

XIAMUN provides students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful debate, explore complex international issues, and collaborate with peers in the spirit of diplomacy and mutual respect. The conference is designed to support delegates at all experience levels, offering a welcoming environment for newcomers while providing engaging challenges and leadership opportunities for more experienced participants.

At its core, XIAMUN seeks to inspire critical thinking, public speaking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Through lively committee sessions and thoughtful resolution-building, delegates gain valuable insights into global affairs while developing the skills needed to make a positive impact in an increasingly interconnected world.

Xiamen International School warmly welcomes all delegates to join us for a conference filled with meaningful discussion, collaboration, and personal growth. We look forward to fostering an enriching and memorable experience that empowers students to become the leaders, innovators, and changemakers of tomorrow.

Invitation Letter

Dear Delegates, Honorable Directors, and Distinguished Guests, The Secretariat Team is thrilled to announce that XIAMUN XI is coming soon! Our theme this year, “Empowered for Change” aims to empower delegates to take bold, decisive actions in creating a better world. It challenges delegates to recognize pressing global issues and make impactful changes.

By focusing on different international challenges, the theme hopes to inspire delegates to explore the diverse possibilities to take humanity to a more unified and hopeful future.

As we embark on this journey of diplomacy, XIAMUN is committed to providing a meaningful, enriching, and memorable experience for all participants. We hope this year’s conference will inspire our future young leaders to take a shot in directing a better world for all.
