The world is rapidly changing, and significant decisions are made every day. Tariffs, artificial intelligence, and war, we face intensive challenges that reverse the trend of globalization. This is a critical point in history where we only have one shot to make the right choice, one shot to change the world.
One Shot is inspired by the song “My Shot,” in which Alexander Hamilton raps about seizing the opportunities that the US provides, expressing his ambition and dedication to embracing a new glory. The theme aims for delegates to consider the lasting impacts of simple choices, ultimately aiming for a collective and constructive decision to solve our world’s current problems.
The Conference
Xiamen International School has proudly organized the XIAMUN Model United Nations conferences since 2010.
Beginning with a small cohort of participants, the program has steadily grown over the past decade, now welcoming nearly 300 delegates from more than a dozen schools across Asia.
At the heart of XIAMUN is empowering the next generation of MUN delegates. XIAMUN grants valuable opportunities to delegates passionate about Model UN. The conference prides itself on being highly suitable for both beginner and intermediate delegates, while also offering relevant chair positions for experienced participants.
Furthermore, XIAMUN strives to build an enriching environment for debating pressing global issues and creating insightful resolutions, fostering memorable learning experiences.

Dear Delegates, Honorable Directors, and Distinguished Guests, The Secretariat Team is thrilled to announce that XIAMUN X is coming soon! Our theme this year, “One Shot,” aims to empower delegates to take bold, decisive actions in creating a better world. It challenges delegates to recognize pressing global issues and make impactful changes.
By focusing on different international challenges, the theme hopes to inspire delegates to explore the diverse possibilities to take humanity to a more unified and hopeful future.
