President
Maggie Guo
Introduction
Greetings delegates! My name is Maggie Guo, and it is an honor to serve as the President of UNEP for the 10th iteration of the Xiamen International School’s Model United Nations Conference. I do not consider myself someone who enjoys expressing my thoughts in front of a large audience, but after hearing about MUN conferences from my peers, I found an opportunity to improve my public speaking skills and critical view on global issues. Recalling my experience from the previous conference, I found it an empowering environment to engage in meaningful dialogues and discover approaches to complex issues facing the global community. Whether you’re a seasoned MUN delegate or new to the experience, I encourage you to bring your passion and creativity, and embrace the spirit of international cooperation. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and witnessing the incredible impact you will make!

Deputy President
Aurora Chou
Introduction
Greetings delegates! My name is Aurora Chou, currently a freshman at XIS, and I’m honored to be serving as your deputy chair for UNEP. I will be focusing on topic 2, the environmental impacts of industrial agriculture. I look forward to seeing delegates engage in thoughtful debate, propose creative and realistic solutions, and collaborate respectfully. Let’s work together to make this MUN productive, engaging, and fun as well!
