President
Anastasia Lim
Introduction
Esteemed delegates, student officers, and directors, Welcome to XIAMUN X! My name is Anastasia Lim, a senior at Xiamen International School (XIS). I am honoured to be serving as the President of the World Health Assembly. XIAMUN X will mark my 5th student officer experience. For the past 3 years in committee rooms, I’ve met new delegates, chairs, admin and secretariats; and I can’t wait to meet you all at XIAMUN this year. I would be chairing for the topic “Improving the accessibility and affordability of healthcare among low-income population in MEDCs” Whether XIAMUN X is your first conference or not, what matters is your willingness to step onto the stage and delivery your first speech. Delegates, you may ask me for any help during your process of preparation! Be open to learning, making new friends, developing memorable experiences, and expanding your knowledge – you may even discover something extraordinary in the process. I look forward to meeting all of you in November!

Deputy President
Emma Guo
Introduction
Esteemed delegates, student officers, and directors, Welcome to XIAMUN X! My name is Emma Guo, an 8th grade student from Xiamen International School, and it is an honor to serve as a deputy president of the World Health Assembly, building upon my three previous experiences as a delegate. I would be chairing the topic, “Promoting ethical standards and patient safety in surgical procedures within global healthcare systems,” which is a cornerstone of equitable and trustworthy medicine. As your chair, I expect nothing less than being a hard worker and being devoted, and I encourage you to collaborate during the conference. Let our debate be characterized by rigorous research, respectful dialogue, and a shared commitment to ensuring that every patient, everywhere, can receive safe and ethical surgical care. I wish to see you all in XIAMUN X!
